Accomplishments of our first year

We’ve been dealing with evasions and misinformation. We’ve learned the value of verifing information & analysing the data for ourselves. [ first part of my state of the union address / plus the number crunching]

Camp info placed on GSNEO websiteUntil June of 2009, GSNEO did not have camp information on it’s website. When we were told that the camp was hardly used, we pointed out that very few members from the legacy councils beside Lake Erie knew the camps exist or what is there. Our earliest proposal was that they have this information on line.  Within a week it was there. Thanks to GSNEO for being responsive.

We’ve learned we have to be proactive & persistent. Every time the board rejected our proposals, we came up with new ones. [ our assorted proposals and what became of them. The page this links to is actually has it’s own heading under the about us page ]

Poster campaign { poster]

They partially reversed the decision because we were fighting for it. [ Letter from GSNEO ]
