Cricket's Corner
Picture
The little structure we now know as Cricket's Corner was the Kirby's picnic shelter / boat landing. Notice that the railings are hinged so they can flip out of the way should someone want to enter the shelter from their rowboat! This favorite Girl Scout hideaway was named in honor of Helen Peterjohn, whose camp name was Cricket.
